Handle ya Scandel!
We have all witnessed the most prominent public figures fall short of our expectations and standards we hold them to. From Bill Cosby to Michael Jordan to Tiger Woods. I believe we come to love the people we see on tv and pretty much trust them as if they are a part of our homes becasue of the relationship we have from seeing so much of them. We tend to forget that these people are humanity saviors in a sense. They have all done something that has saved so many human lives by what they love to do. The only people who can save a life that they never came across face to face with. Giving people of all ethnics, races, ages and gender hope by going to work and doing their jobs beyond the level of that which has preceded him. We seem to have our own law that allows us to judge other humans that carry the celebrity status becasue of what they have been blessed with. At the same time, if this person does not become what their blessings of talents they have been given we label them as a failure and some what placed them beneath us for not having the heart to want to use the talents and god giving abilities. We must admit that we all have a disposition that is a little green with envy. We love famous people as long as they dont compromise our impalpable platonic celebrity prenuptuals we take when a celebrity is lionized. Part of the problem is that how we've come to love this person helps them get to where they are today and it is true in a sense,so to speak. And while most accept the role as role models we accept the role as proprietor of their private affairs as we know it. We should all take a step back when celebrity falls in front of us and offer a hand to help them up from their fall because again, we are part responsible for building this person up to whom they have become and who they are today, right? We can not save them but we can play an influentual role of how these people get back up if we love them in their transgressions and mistakes. Making a change can help other people change.
